Day 1 — Great Ocean Road ( MT, L)

Bells Beach
Enjoy some complimentary morning tea/coffee as we watch the surfers at Bells Beach.

Take some pictures at the historic Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch.

 

Beach Walk
Go for a stroll along some of the beautiful beaches.

 

Lorne & Anglesea
View some spectacular beaches and lookouts.

 

Spot wild Koalas / Wildlife viewing at Kennett River
See how many Koalas you can find at Kennett River. Get amongst beautiful birds such as King parrots, Crimson rosellas and look out for the famous Kookaburra.

 

Free Restaurant Lunch At Iluka (Apollo Bay)
Enjoy a range of Lunch options such as Chicken, Fish, Beef or Vegetarian meals from one of the nicest restaurant in Apollo Bay (Iluka!). 

 

Otway's Rainforest (Mait's Rest)
Take a guided bushwalk through this very rare, ancient and cool temperate rainforest. You'll feel dwarfed as you stroll past some of the tallest trees in the world. The path is an easy 800 metres long circular walk and can be slippery at places. Shoes with a grip are recommended.

 

Twelve Apostles
View the beautiful limestone stacks that for the mighty Twelve Apostles. Treat yourself to an optional helicopter flight for an extra $75 (Weather & Time permitting).

 

Loch Ard Gorge
A beautiful vista of towering cliffs, sparkling blue-green sea and a small, sandy beach. This Gorge derives its name from one of Victoria's most tragic shipwrecks more than a 120 years ago. Take a short walk to view famous Razorback, Salt and pepper or just laze on the beach at the bottom of the gorge itself.

 

London Bridge
London Bridge has fallen down....BUT it still makes a stunning photo opportunity and has a great story behind it.

Day 2 — The Grampians National Park (B)

Tour the Grampians National Park
Home to the Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koalas, Emus, Birds, Echidnas and many other Australian creatures as well as an abundant array of plant life. 'A Wildlife, Waterfall, Walker's paradise! Get up early and have a look around your hostel. There will be kangaroos everywhere, noisy corellas flying above your head, you might even get lucky and spot secretive wallaby.

 

Boroka & Reed's Lookout or Bellfield Lake
Take a stroll along the lake's shore and breathe in fresh, mountain air. This ever popular walking and picknicking spot is just a short drive from Hall's Gap.

 

Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre   
Learn about the history and culture of the Jardwadjali and Djab Wurring Aboriginal tribes.

 

McKenzie Falls, Clematis Falls or Silverband Falls
A pleasant, 1.8 km return walk on well maintained path will take to beautiful Clematis falls. The beginning of this lovely walk in only two minutes from Halls Gap

 

'Jaws of Death', Hollow mountain or Chautauqua Peak
Explore breathtaking beauty of massive sandstone outcrops and eucalypt covered slopes of Northern Grampians. Take a walk up to the top of Hollow Mountain and enjoy amazing views of Mt. Stapylton and the surrounding Wimmera plains. The walk itself can be a challenging uphill hike, and some sections may be rocky and slippery. Don't forget to bring sturdy shoes with good grip and at least 2 litres of water to avoid dehydration.

 

Halls Gap
Spend time in the beautiful Halls Gap, the heart of the Grampians National Park.

 

Bunjil's Cave or Gulgurn Manja Aboriginal Rock Art shelter
Just a short stroll form Hollow mountain is Gulgurn manja shelter with some of the finest Aboriginal paintings in the region. The paintings include emu tracks and hand prints many done by children. These were used to help tell the stories and pass on the laws of the people.

 

Free Wine Tasting
Enjoy the guided tour of one of Australia's oldest wineries — Best's  Winery, found in the heart of Ararat wine growing region (Melbourne return only).

 

 

Departs: Every Monday, Thursday & Saturday (Between 07:00AM & 08:00AM)

Arrives: Back to Melbourne approximately at 06:30PM.
