Our Tour Itinerary
Our tour will begin precisely at the hostel where you stay, where you transfer to dedeMaipu, the The Wine Brht Place. Upon arrival at our home base, located in Old Winery Giol, where we have a beautiful and picturesque Bar Craft Beer. And after the presentation of guidelines and general recommendations are regulated helmets and seat heights forevery biker, with which we began our tour visiting the impressive winery Giol, the World's Largest founded by his pioneers in the industry in 1889 . . In this magnificent site, can view the facilities which were the World's Largest Winery. A walk through the barrels andbasins, culminating in a complete tasting of wines and grape juices in Old Cellar Giol.Continuing our journey, we move on to Avenida Padre Vazquez Urban Ferrotranvíastation at the end of it, and from there take Avenue Ozamis and enter Bodegas López,where visitors will make the tour and tasting.
The next destination takes us, continuing Ozamis pedaling to the National Museum of Wine, where we visit the mansions and Gargantini Giol where our guests can learn more detail about the history of those pioneers of the wine industry of The Wine Birht Place. Inside the Museum and at the end of the visit, will enjoy a tasting ofwines, oils and jams
The route takes us Ozamis Lane until you reach the Plaza of Maipú, which will make astop visiting the clock source and flowers, while our guides continue telling the story of our people Wine Birth Place From the Plaza, and only 300 meters, is the Baudron Winery where we take a visit and tasting.
Our next destination is the Kumelkan Spa, where passengers can learn about the benefits of wine therapy treatments and sessions and Oliv therapy held there.
Ozamis retake South Lane and head to the Establishment olive Maguay. Here,passengers made a complete tour of the olive groves and learn about the developmentof a unique olive oil, which can taste with the delicious olives that are produced there, forboth 90% for export.
Ozamis circulating Lane South, we will make a visit to Stop Art. In this site, the Bikerswill appreciate works of art that are constantly changing, as well as the particular paint Malbec. Optionally, they can perform their own works with this technique, and a souvenir of the place that they themselves created. We moved south by rail in Ozamis drecciónmaking the ascent to the Cristo de las Viñas, where our guides will begin to tell the story of Maipú and its relationship with the wine.
After efforts to reach the monument, and a short break, we began the descent to getback to the roundabout at Route 60 and Ozamis, where we return to Route 60 to theentry by the internal passageway of the Farm Winery Family Cecchin. Pedaling for thisbeautiful tour through the vineyards, we arrive at the winery buildings, where we make atour inside. There will be our lunch that consists of a full appetizer menu which is typicaltomaticán, and the main calf Muscat of Alexandria, and for dessert pears and apples in Malbec. Lunch includes a comparison of organic wine, produced by the winery Cecchin.
The return path is through the entire length of Ozamis, takes us on a gentle descent toour base of operations within the same Giol Bodega, where we find our bar, whereguests can enjoy a delicious beer craft, and see videos, photos and books of ourmountaineering expeditions in the small museum located there, while editing the CDwith the photos, they are delivered without additional cost.
Already completed the journey, passengers are taken in combination or vehicle to theplace of origin, which also includes transportation of all goods and products that may beacquired.
General:
The passengers are removed from the Hotel at 9:30 pm and estimated time of return is approximately 19 hrs.
All units are in excellent working order and have a front buffer, 18 speeds and helmet.
The group has a guide accompanying every 8 passengers.
In all our trips, it used a monitoring system using GPS location and that sends a signal to our base of operations. From there the route is monitored and provided with no arrestsin itineraries or unforeseen movements from the base of operations will be reportedimmediately to police giving the exact location of the quota, in order to make aprevention against unwanted situations. The guide keeps a constant communication viaUHF, and cellular with the kiss of operations and support vehicle.
All units are Accredited by the Municipality of Maipu and insured by CommercialInsurance Company Andean and Protected Area Service, providing immediate response to any contingency.
The guides who accompany groups are specialized in high mountain expeditionsMountain Bike, with courses in first aid and extensive experience in this activity.
