Ready to eat like a Porteño?

 

First, we need to be sure that you know that a Porteño is a Buenos Aires resident, meaning you’re going to be eating like a local. We hope you’re okay with that, because this Buenos Aires food tour is all about eating local food in local spots.

 

We’ll be exploring the neighbourhood of Recoleta, one of the most popular districts in Buenos Aires, and one of the best areas in which to have a gourmet Argentinian food experience. Our first restaurant is somewhere that perfectly represents Argentinian culture, and will give you a real taste of authentic empanadas, a typical local appetizer. You’ll have the opportunity to sample different types of empanadas, including meat, cheese, and vegetarian ones.

 

Continuing our food adventure, we’ll hit up a local favourite for some traditional parrilas (grilled meat), along with an excellent glass of Argentinian Malbec. By this point, you’ll feel so much like a Porteño, you’ll want to move here!

 

To finish the evening food tour in Buenos Aires, we’ll show you our favourite dessert place, where you’ll delight in homemade ice cream served with Argentina’s famous dulce de leche.
