We promise to take you to the most beautiful places on the island inaccessible to others, but no problem for our 4x4 jeeps. Along the way your informative guide will keep you entertained. He will share the folklore, culture and history of our Antigua.
First, on our journey we make our ascent to "Convents Hill". Here your driver will serve you drinks from our onboard bar selection. See the breath-taking view of Falmouth Harbour, in the southern part of the island.
Next, the Land Rover convoy will be off to the "Pot Works Dam". An expanse of freshwater that is the largest in the Eastern Caribbean. It is a mile long and half a mile wide, when full.
By now we have built up an appetite and are off to "Betty’s Hope Estate". A delightful lunch will be served at this charming location. Like other large plantations, Betty's Hope was both an agricultural and industrial enterprise. Supervised by a handful of European managers, hundreds of Africans lived out their lives on this and similar plantations in the 1800's.
Onto "Devils Bridge". A natural rock formation on the northeastern side of the island. This bridge was created when the limestone eroded away, by action of strong Atlantic waves over countless centuries.
Time for a dip in the sea at "Long Bay Beach". Relax under the sun and let your worries drift away.
