Grandvalira Mushing (dogsled)

Let the thrill of adventure and fun light up your eyes as you experience the high-octane activity of Dogsledding. This winter sledding excursion will launch you into the realm of dog-powered travel, with speed and thrills guaranteed. Once you’ve had a taste, you’ll be left begging for more!

With a history dating back over a thousand years, dog sledding was traditionally used for hunting, travel and racing. You can now experience this age-old way of travelling over ice and snow which is unlike anything else you’ve experienced. You will be captivated by the wild and rugged landscapes that you can access on a dog sled.

The two-seater sleds are controlled by an instructor, or musher, who expertly guides the highly-trained animals on their course. Enjoy a unique experience as you not only enjoy the thrill of travelling in such an unusual way but also visit spectacular spots. Marvel at the skill and power of the animals as they take you through the magnificent landscapes of the Grand Valira region of Andorra.

Enjoy the added benefit of getting up close and personal with nature as you choose to travel using dog-power rather than horse-power. Without the distraction of the noise of a mechanical engine, your senses will be heightened as you speed through the crisp winter wonderland. Enjoy feeling the wind on your face and the rush of your heartbeat during this exciting dog-sledding experience.
