Mai Chau - Sleepy Valley

Pick up at the hotel to go to Mai Chau located in Hoa Binh Province, approximately 135 km from Ha Noi. Passing Cum Slope over 12 km through Cao Phong District is Mai Chau Valley. From the top of the Cun Mountain, one can admire the superb panoramic view of Mai Chau surrounded by green valley and stilt houses. Many ethnic minorities, including the White Thai Ethnic group, live in Mai Chau. Enjoy a traditional lunch and if you are game, have a taste of the country’s finest rice wine with a local family. Afterward, we will take a bicycling trip around the village to see farmers working in the fields and the locals weaving scarves. We will also visit the surrounding peaceful villages to experience the rustic life of these mountainous people before going back to Ha Noi.
