Day 1:  Cai Be Floating Market – Vam Cai Ga

About 70km from Ho Chi Minh City, you will arrive in the countryside. A place of peace and simplicity as the atmosphere is filled with fresh air and charming scenery. You will take a boat trip to visit the Cai Be Floating Market and along the Vam Cai River to view the life of the working locals. You may have a chance to catch the moment when fishermen cast their nets or place bamboo shrimp traps on the river. Have lunch at local house. The afternoon is the time for you to experience the fishermen fishing or placing fish trap. For sure you will have unforgettable memories in this trip.  Have dinner.  Overnight in homestay.

 

Day 2:  Local market – pot plants

After breakfast, take a bike trip to a local market called “Cho Chom Hom”. It is similar to that of a flea market where local people gather together and trade. Here you can find simple features in trading of the southerners. After visiting market, you will have a trip to visit Cai Mon Orchard Garden which the locals call the kingdom of fruits. Onto visit the Cai Mon Church – one of the oldest churches in the Mekong Delta. In the afternoon, you will visit pot plants and saplings garden in Vinh Bac – Vinh Nam, also known as the kingdom of pot plants in Ben Tre. This is your chance to get some information and experiences about potting plants and sapling with masters in this field. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
