Samarkand - "Shining face of the Earth," "Rome of the East", one of the oldest cities in the world, the heart of the ancient Sogdiana and the capital of powerful Tamerlane empire. In the excursion program - Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XIV-XV c.) - Timurid dynasty tomb, Registan Square: Ulugbek Madrassah (XV c.), Sherdor Madrassah (XVII c.) and Tilla Kori Madrassah(XVII c.) - a masterpiece of medieval architecture and the main symbol of Samarkand; Mausoleum of Holy Doniyor (St.Daniel), revered by both Muslims and Christians and Jews; History Museum in the ancient city Afrasiab (VIII c. BC); Mausoleum complex Shahi-Zinda (XI-XV c.) - Necropolis consisting of more than 20 unique mausoleums of different times of construction. Shahi Zinda- a whole street of the medieval town, which is preserved to this day, where lies the oldest buildings in Samarkand; Bibi Honim Mosque (XIV c.), conceived by Timur as the biggest mosque and built in honor of his beloved wife.

Beside to the mosque - the famous Siab Bazaar, the oldest market in Samarkand. Market maintained its unforgettable color and atmosphere, surprising tourists with its colorful, variety of products and goods. Here you can taste and buy the famous Samarkand bread "Non", oriental sweets, spices, fresh fruits, nuts and dried fruits.

During the tour you will have lunch at local restaurant or at the national house and taste the famous Uzbek dishes: pilaf, manty, shourpa, samsa, lagman, a variety of kebabs ...
