Day 2 (Tue or Fri), Tashkent

Breakfast at the hotel.

Sightseeing around Tashkent:historical monuments -Hazrat Imam Complex, Barak-Khan Madrassah (XVI, XIX c.),Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum (XV c.),Mui-Mubarak Madrassah (XIX c.),which housesthe oldest Koran, written in VII c.;Juma Mosque Hodge Ahror Wali (XV c.),Kukeldash Madrassah (XVI c.).

Lunch at the national restaurant.

Main dish: «Lagman» — hand-cooked thick noodles in a broth, seasoned with a special sauce with sliced meat and vegetables.

After lunch — City tour around modern Tashkent: Squares, Palaces, Parks and Fountains of Tashkent, Tashkent TV Tower — the tallest in Central Asia, the second in the CIS countries, among the Top-10 of TV towers in the world; Monument of Courage — the epicenter of the earthquake in Tashkent 1966; Theatre Square, Grand Academic Theatre; Navoi National Park; walk around the Mustaqillik (Independence) square  — the main square of Uzbekistan.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Main course: «Manpar» — a thick soup with dumplings, sliced ​​meat and vegetables, seasoned with a special sauce.

Day 3 (Wed or Sat), Tashkent-Samarkand (344 km, the train)

Early breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the station.

08:00 — Departure to Samarkand by high speed train «Afrosiyob.»

10:08 — Arrival in Samarkand.

Meeting with a guide at the train station.

Start Sightseeing around«Rome of the East» — the ancient Samarkand, the capital of ancient Sogdiana.The first point — Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XIV-XV c.) — Timurid dynasty tomb, Registan Square: Ulugbek Madrassah (XIV c.), Sherdor Madrassah (XVII c.) and Tilla Kori Madrassah (XVII c.) — A masterpiece of medieval architecture and the main symbol of Samarkand.

Lunch at the national restaurant.

Main dishes: «Shurpa» — lamb soup, flavored with dill and parsley, «Samsa» — patty of flaky pastry stuffed with meat.

Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Rest.

16:00 — Continuation of the tour:Shahi-Zinda (XI-XV centuries.) – necropolis, consisting of more than 20 unique mausoleums of different times of construction. Shahi Zinda — a whole street of the medieval town has been preserved to the present day, are concentrated oldest building of in Samarkand; Cathedral mosque of Bibi Khanum (XIV c.) — the largest mosque of its time, built in honor of the beloved wife of Tamerlane.

Walk through ancient Siab bazaar where you will be able to know what the real oriental bazaar. Market maintained its unforgettable flavor and atmosphere, surprises tourists with its colorful, variety of products and goods. Here you can taste and buy the famous Samarkand bread, oriental sweets, spices, fresh fruits, nuts and dried fruits.

Walk through the a pedestrian street that leads from the Bibi Khanum Registan. There are many souvenir shops and stores of national fabrics, carpets and other handicrafts products.

Visit to craft center of Samarkand, where you will have the opportunity to see the work of craftsmen — artisans Samarkand: masters of hand embroidery, folk musical instruments, wood carving, pottery, jewelry, ethnic clothing, miniature painting, gold embroidery, tapestry masters, masters of the national knives, carpet weavers.

Transfer to National House.

Day 4 (Thu or Sun), Samarkand-Shahrisabz-Samarkand (180 km, car)

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast — continued excursion in Samarkand:Museum of the ancient city Afrasiab (VIII BC); Mausoleum of Hazrat Doniyor (St.Daniel) (XIV, early. XX c.), revered by both Muslims, Christians and Jews; Ulugbek Observatory — it is here under the leadership of Ulugbek — the governor and the great scientist, a grandson of Tamerlane, was carried out astronomical research and was compiled most precise catalog of 1018 stars.

Trip to Shahrisabz (by cars) — the homeland of Amir Timur.

Our route passes through scenic gorges and passes of Zerafshan ridge. The highest point on the road — the mountain pass Tahtakaracha with a breathtaking view of the mountain valley.

Return to Samarkand.

Main dish:«The Uzbek kebabs». Guests can choose from: Qiyma-kebab, Jigar-kebab, Besh-panja, Uch-panja, Chalagach, Dumba, Tovuq-shashlik, Balyq-shashlik, Napoleon, ....., from beef, lamb, chicken, fish!

Day 5 (Fri or Mon), Samarkand-Bukhara (285 km, the train)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free time until 11:00.

11:00 — Transfer to the train station.

12:15 — Drive to Bukhara by express train «Sharq».

Lunch — at the buffet-car of train or lunch-boxes.

15:20 — Arrival in Bukhara.

Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Rest.

Main dish: «Barracha» — meat of young lamb stewed with onion  or «Nowruz-kebab» — a gentle veal baked with vegetables and a bouquet of spices.

Day 6 (Sat or Tue), Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast — Full day tour in Bukhara:

Ark fortress (IV c. BC — XIX c.) — the oldest monument of Bukhara, the Citadel and the main residence of Bukhara rulers;

The Mausoleum of Samanids (IX-X c.) — the tomb of the Samanid dynasty, the pearl of medieval Central Asian architecture, was built entirely of brick, with a unique geometric pattern of brickwork;

The complex Poi-Kalon (XII-XVI c.) — an architectural ensemble in the center of Old Bukhara, includes the Kalyan Cathedral mosque, Miri-Arab Madrassah and the highest minaret in Central Asia — Minorai Kalyan.

Walking through the medieval trading domes of Bukhara (XVI-XVII c.)

Tim of Abdullah Khan — for centuries are traded fabrics and carpets, and today this tradition has not changed.;

Toki Zargaron— a market of  jewelers;

Toki Telpak Furushon — bazaar of  the headgear sellers;

Toki Sarrafon — a market of 'money-changers', the medieval Currency Exchange.

Labi-Hauz complex (XVI-XVII c.) — an architectural complex that surrounds one of the few surviving ponds — «Hauz» in Bukhara. The complex consists ofKukeldash Madrassah — the largest in the city,Khanaka — the venue of the religious rituals of the Sufis (a mystical branch of Islam) and theMadrasa — a medieval institution, built by Nadir Divan-Begi — the vizier of the Emir of Bukhara.

Main dish: «Kuzacha» — lamb soup in the pot.

Continuation of excursion: Chor-Minor Madrassah (XIX c.),Qosh Madrassah Ensemble (XVI c.):Madrassahs of Abdulla-khan andModari Khon; Magoki Attori mosque (IX-XVI c.) — the oldest mosque in Bukhara, the only survivor after the invasion of Genghis Khan. There are reports that until the XVII century, therein together with the Muslims also prayed the Jews;Sitorai Mohi Khosa (XIX-beg.XX cc.) — a country palace of Bukhara emirs.

Main dishes: «Kazan-kebab» — beef / lamb, roasted in its own juices in “kazan” (cauldron) or«Dimlama» — beef, braised with vegetables or«Jiz-biz» – the lamb roasted in a special way in deep-fried, to choose from the guests.

Day 7 (Sun or Wed), Bukhara-Tashkent (600 km, the train)

6:00-Early breakfast at the hotel.

07:00 — Transfer to the train station.

08:00 — Departure to Tashkent by express train «Sharq»

14:47 — Arrival in Tashkent.
