This wine country tour is a pleasure for anyone who enjoys a good glass of wine or for those just wanting to experience the beautiful scenery, but with limited time.
The only half day wine tour in San Francisco departs from Fisherman's Wharf and heads North across the Golden Gate Bridge, through Marin County and into the world famous Carneros wine region in the town of Sonoma. Included on the tour are visits to several wineries in beautiful Sonoma, spanning from mass production wineries to smaller boutiques. Learn all about wine production and techniques and enjoy wine tasting sessions and winery tours.
This fun and informative tour not only offers a taste of superb wineries in the region, but it offers a chance to enjoy the splendour of the beautiful vineyards and picturesque Sonoma County as your guide escorts you from place to place.
This tour takes approximately 5-6 hours and includes pick and up and drop off from most downtown San Francisco hotels. It departs Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 12 noon. It also includes the services of a knowledgeable local driver-guide, all transfers and entrance to the different wineries as well as wine-tasting. To participate in wine tasting an individual must be 21 years old There is no minimum age for tour. Remember to wear comfortable clothing and footwear and to dress for the weather.
