'Ooh' and 'aah' over some of Charlotte's most beautiful sights as you bike through the city with a local guide. Explore Charlotte's gorgeous parks, lush gardens, and historic neighbourhood on this Charlotte bike tour that evens the exercise out with a healthy dose of Charlotte food!

All your senses will be engaged as we follow Charlotte’s path of progress from pre-revolutionary Native American trading paths to today’s culturally rich Southern bank town. On this Charlotte day tour you'll hear the story of how Charlotte came to be, while riding by the city’s oldest homes and newest postmodern skyscrapers before stopping at a park across from the new Wells Fargo Cultural Campus.  From the park, you will see the outside of Uptown Charlotte’s newest museums, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, Mint Museum, and Gantt Center.  While in uptown, we'll experience southern favorites from one of the many local restaurants here, and your guide with give you the lowdown on the local cuisine, how it's prepared, and why it is that we love it so much (although you'll get a pretty good idea when you're tasting it!).

Next on this Charlotte food tour, we'll head to South End and learn about Charlotte’s first industrial district, an area that was recently named the third best comeback neighbourhood of the southeast. After taking in the sights of South End, we stop at nearby Latta Park, our city’s most historically significant outdoor space. Taste delicious fried chicken wings from one of South End’s legendary establishments. Can't get more southern than that!

Cycle along the tree-lined streets and learn the history of Dilworth, Charlotte’s first suburban neighbourhood. Marvel at the large homes with exceptionally beautiful yards, some dating from the early 1900s. We'll make a couple more stops in this neighbourhood to try even more of the local fare, and finish our tour of Charlotte with full bellies. Time to fall into a food coma!
