Soar to the heights of excitement as you take in the stunning spectacle that is Spider-Man the musical on Broadway! The comic book hero’s story comes alive like never before with thrilling aerial combat sequences, visually dramatic and dynamic sets as well as an inspired score from U2’s Bono and the Edge. A must see for action lovers and music lovers alike.
Transformed from a nerdy, bullied teenager into the iconic Spider-Man, this new adaption of the Marvel hero takes on mythic proportions during this Broadway production. Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark propels the audience into the magical world of the graphic novel with its larger than life scenes and bold acrobatics. The audience is taken on an exhilarating journey through the Manhattan skyline as it follows this tale of good versus evil, in one of the most technically elaborate musicals of all time.
The show tells the story of Peter Parker, an orphan propelled into a superhero existence after being bitten by a genetically modified spider. His life is turned upside down as he wakes up the next morning clinging to his bedroom ceiling having been imbued with the special powers of a spider. You will soar with him as he discovers and harnesses his new powers to battle evil and plunge into the darkness as he wrestles with the realisation that with great power comes great responsibility.
Featuring incredible aerial stunts that see Spider-Man flying over the audience to fight his enemies, a score that encompasses both the edginess of the darker side of the story as well as the touching elements of love and angst experienced by the main protagonists, this Broadway production of Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark will cast a web over you and hold you there!
