Ready for a rush? Take the ride of a lifetime in a 600 horsepower NASCAR race car. The Richard Petty Driving Experience makes grown-up dreams come true. Settle into the seat, take the wheel, pump the gas and zoom around a track at 120 MPH. No speeding tickets or point deductions. You’re excused as racing royalty, just like Richard “The King” Petty.

The seven-time NASCAR winner had a need for speed but always made safety a priority. His driving experience also prepares you for a ride without risk. Learn from the crew chief how to navigate the track, including where to accelerate and decelerate. You will be thoroughly briefed about the NASCAR race car. Shifting gears, safety devices, entry and exit from the vehicle are among the subjects covered in detail. Join the other race car drivers for the mandatory pre-ride meeting in which you’ll receive your driving order. You will have a chance to take a photo with your sweet ride. Soon after, you will hear the famous command, “Drivers, start your engines!” Zoom around the oval, feel the rumble of this incredible vehicle, realize that you are commanding it. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that anyone who is a race car fan or simply enjoys driving shouldn’t miss.

Following your race, you will receive a graduation certificate and a lap timesheet, showing your fastest lap. The Richard Petty Driving Experience is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are mandatory. Participants will be able to select from packages of varying lengths and features, including the Rookie, King’s and Experience of a Lifetime.

Those who want the ride of a lifetime but not behind the wheel can select the Ride-Along Experience. Ride shotgun in a car piloted by a professional instructor. You’ll burn rubber, reaching speeds of 160 miles-per-hour. No reservations are required for the Ride-Along Experience. Please note that all services are non-refundable and closed-toe shoes are required.

Others: All Drivers must be 18 or older with a valid Driver´s License and able to drive a manual.
All experiences (Rookie, Kings and Lifetime) require guests to drive a manual transmission. All services are non-refundable. A Driver Release Fee will be collected for all driving experiences. Fee is collected at the track from client and is subject to change.
