Pedal… or Not Electric Bicycle Tour
It’s an active and fun experience where you choose to Pedal… or Not.
“Wow!” will likely be your first word when you turn on the power of your electric bike.
From the cushy seat of your cool, comfortable, colorful beach cruiser you’ll ride along Santa Monica’s award winning beach to the Marion Davies Guesthouse, under the Santa Monica Pier and thru Venice to the Venice Canals. You’ll be accompanied by a storytelling guide with interesting info about the local art, architecture and history of the area while you soak in the sun, surf, sand and ocean breezes.
The bikes allow you to choose between pedaling with 6 gears, so you choose your own comfortable exercise level, electric motor power (a twist of the wrist) which puts the power completely in your control, or both. All bikes are equipped with state of the art disc brakes. The lithium power assist will ensure that you’re never far behind!
Warning: Excessive smiling occurs.
The 2 ½ to 3-hour tours operate 3x daily(spring & summer) 2x daily(fall & winter) and are designed for bicycle riders 13 and up who appreciate the joy of riding a bike but with a surprisingly fun added option.
Tour Times:
FALL WINTER tour times of 10am and 2pm begin Sunday, November 3, 2013 thru Saturday, March 8, 2014.
SUMMER Monday-Sunday: 9am, 12:30pm and at 4pm
Price: $59 per person for 2 1/2 to 3 hours of fun.
What to Bring:
Please bring a jacket. The weather at the beach is tricky and can change during your ride.
We suggest you wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
There are no food stops so bring a snack bar or other small snack if you like.
What we Provide:
Pedego electric beach cruiser bicycle with basket, helmet & water. A great expereince.
Parking: Stop in front of our shop 214 Pier Street (off Main Street), Santa Monica, CA 90405. We will provide a parking pass and directions to the correct lot.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your reservation to check-in and start your tour and training on time. Training includes skills review and test ride. Safety for all of our guests is our 1st priority.
Tours stops may vary.
There will be several areas where we walk with our bikes.
Ages 13 and up, 100 – 250 lbs.
Guests must review and sign a liability waiver before riding.
Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Helmets are required and will be provided. All bikes have a basket.
Driver’s license is Not required.
You cannot join a tour already in progress. No refunds once a tour has left our location. No shows are charged in full.
Any damages to bike or property are the responsibility of the rider.
In case of rain, tours will be cancelled and rescheduled or fully refunded.
We have a limited number of bike; 48-hour cancellation notice is required for a full refund.
No pregnant guests due to fall risks.
