Meet your guide at the Newport Visitor's Center and board a comfortable coach for the ride to the mansion of your choice. As you travel, your informative guide will share some of Newport's colorful history dating back to the 1600s. Learn how Newport became the capital of Rhode Island but then fell under British control. A British blockade caused the city's economy to collapse, but today Newport is a haven for the rich and famous.

Enter the mansion of your choosing (The Breakers, Marble House or The Elms) and admire the gorgeous Christmas decorations. The Breakers was a summer cottage for the wealthy Vanderbilt family. The Elms was also a summer cottage and holds an impressive collection of ceramics, paintings and jade. The Marble House is a Gilded Age mansion resembling the White House.
