The Medieval Banquet

Eat and party like a king at a medieval banquet hosted by the incomparable Henry VIII, whose appetite and wit remain undimmed by the passage of time. This is a rip-roaring journey back in time that features jousting knights, amazing acrobats, dancing wenches, melodic minstrels and talented troupers – all the ingredients for a right royal romp.

The regal banquet takes place by flickering torchlight in the vaulted cellars of Ivory House, just a stone's throw from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. It is located on land that was granted to 13 knights in the 10th century by Saxon King Edgar the Peaceful. This rambunctious evening harks back to this chivalrous past with swordfights and music from the medieval and Renaissance courts of Europe.

The four course feast is the stuff of legend and unlimited beer and wine flow in King Henry's Banqueting Halls. Prepare to be swashed and buckled by the knights in shining armour, marvel at the minstrels and raise your tankard and cry wassail to the lords and ladies of the dance as the sound and fury of the medieval extravaganza unfurls before your eyes.

After the show, there is even more music and dancing or you could take a two-minute walk to Tower Bridge and enjoy a panoramic view of London by night.
