Day 1: Arrive Dubai Airport – Park Hyatt Hotel
Upon arrival at Dubai Airport, transfer to the luxurious 5-star Park Hyatt Dubai, located on a peaceful stretch of Dubai Creek and adjacent to the famous Dubai Creek Golf Club. The rest of the day is free to take full advantage of the hotel’s deluxe facilities.
Boasting an award-winning spa, a beautiful oasis-style pool, and delectable waterfront dining, the hotel provides a delightful retreat away from the city’s bustle. Settle in to your spacious room, all with water views of either the Creek or the Marina. Elegant interiors are complemented by the Mediterranean and Moorish design in muted pastels.
Fine dining selections range from an open-kitchen Thai restaurant to modern European grills and Lebanese cuisine. For sunset cocktails retire to The Terrace with its lounge ambien to eat caviar and oysters, washed down with a selection of vodkas.
Day 2: Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club (6,857 Yards / Par 71)
Your golf adventure starts in earnest with a morning game at the stunning Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. The undulating manicured fairways are demarcated by mounds, date and palm trees, and challenging water features. Apart from the Creek, which comes into play on at least 4 holes, several artificial lakes add to the beauty and difficulty of the course. The presence of multiple tees ensure that golfers of all calibers will enjoy their day out.
In the afternoon take a city tour, exploring the historic sites and vibrant cosmopolitan life of Dubai. Visit the picturesque palace and residential area of Jumeirah, home to the famous Jumeirah Mosque. Continue to the former residence of the ruling family at Sheikh Saeed House. Explore the old part of Dubai at Al Bastakiya, and visit the museum at Al Fahidi Fort.
Climb aboard a traditional abra (water taxi) and cross the Creek to the spice souk and gold souk, the most famous of Dubai’s shopping attractions. The rest of the day is then free for you to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities.
Day 3: Emirates Golf Club – The Majlis Course (7,200 Yards / Par 72)
The original home of the Dubai Desert Classic, and the flagship course of Emirates Golf Club, the Majlis Championship Course is a challenging par 72, 7,200-yard course, sculptured around the original tall desert dunes. The Majlis was the first grass course in the Middle East and takes its name from the Arabic for “meeting place.” One of the most prominent features of the course is the Majlis building itself, positioned between the 8th and 9th holes.
The 8th hole, a par 4 dogleg is the Majlis' most unusual hole. Stroke index 3 and playing a full 434 yards, it has the unusual distinction of playing up-hill and requires a long, well-directed drive to leave a reasonable second shot to its protected green.
After your game, enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Then, drive by 4WD vehicle through the desert dunes as the sun begins to set. Stop to watch the beautiful sunset before reaching a Bedouin campsite, where you can ride a camel, try your hand at sand-boarding, or get a henna design painted on your hands or feet.
Sit down to a delicious barbecue dinner, and end with an Arabic shisha water pipe. Before returning to your hotel, watch a belly dancer performing shows around the campfire under the enchanting starlight.
Day 4: The Montgomerie (7,308 Yards / Par 72)
Designed by Colin Montgomerie in association with Desmond Muirhead, The Montgomerie is Dubai’s championship golf course. It covers 265 acres, including 123 acres of turf, 49 acres of man-made lakes, and 93 acres of landscaped gardens, all scattered with 81 bunkers.
Providing players with undulating linksland-style fairways, the generous landing areas challenge all levels of player. Although large in size, the greens can be very misleading, as they consistently roll above 9.5 feet. Plenty of shape throughout the greens can result in some trying putts.
Reward yourself with an afternoon at leisure, enjoying the hotel’s spa and dining facilities, or relaxing in your room.
Day 5: Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club (6,857 Yards / Par 71)
Enjoy a second game on the fabulous Dubai Creek Golf Course, and then spend an afternoon at leisure enjoying the hotel’s facilities.
Day 6: Jebel Ali Golf Resort (3,299 Yards / Par 36)
Your final day of golf is at the 9-hole, par 36, championship Resort Course, situated within the idyllic grounds of the Jebel Ali Resort. Designed by Peter Harradine, the Resort Course has hosted the world’s best players at the Dubai Desert Classic, curtain raiser of the European PGA Tour.
Each hole is uniquely landscaped with exotic trees, shrubs, and original desert flora, and the course features a saltwater lake that comes into play on 5 holes. The wooden gazebos, views of the Arabian Gulf, and free-roaming peacocks add a special charm to the course, which provides a fair and exciting challenge for golfers of all abilities.
Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast and a morning at leisure, check out of the hotel and meet your guide at reception for the 20-minute drive to Dubai International Airport.
