Ranxo Ses Roques

Saddle up for an action-packed horseback ride through the rugged landscapes of northern Mallorca. All the routes from the legendary Ranxo Ses Roques are specifically chosen and designed to maximise the visual feast of this timeless activity. The horses are well tamed and easy to mount, even if you have never ridden one before. Come along for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Children are well catered for at the ranch, with ponies available for them to ride. All the youngsters are invited to have a go at leading the ponies and then riding them in the corral. There is also a petting farm, where the little ones can feed native Balearic animals in their natural habitat. They can interact with parrots, goats, ducks, peacocks, turkeys, cows, rabbits, donkey, piglets and many more creatures. This is a great way to bring them closer to nature and introduce them to a rural environment.

The routes pass through a range of landscapes, from arid plains to cool pine forests. During some trails, you can enjoy be panoramic views from hills overlooking Alcudia, the port and the beach. The ranch itself is redolent of the Old West, with a strong Spanish colonial influence throughout. You could be mistaken for thinking you’re in Arizona rather than Alcudia.

Start/opening time: There are trails between 10am and 1pm and from 4pm.
