Enjoy a day deep in nature high in the Catalan heartland. Leave the hustle and bustle of Barcelona far behind as you climb by rack railway to the Valley of Nuria; a world of high mountain peaks, tranquil lakes and green pastures. Explore mediaeval villages where time seems to have stood still and let yourself be seduced by the tranquillity of the Romanesque monastery of Santa Maria de Ripoll. The day will end with a tasting of traditional Catalan cheeses and charcuterie, washed down with local wines.
