A break in nature while you enjoy your holiday. Wine Tasting in Oller del Mas, a X Century (964 A.D) castle surrounded by gorgeous fields with jaw dropping views. A very intense experience in nature and the feeling of the past. Top regional brands are providing food in this tour that exceeds in quality.
After Montserrat we head the to The Oller del Mas Castle, just a few minutes away from Montserrat. One of the most important and beautiful wineries in the region. Located in an impressing Castle dating over a thousand years old, some of the walls are from 964 A.D (X century), the winery reigns over 1000 acres of land.
The castle will be just for a few us (max. 15 people) and the family if they are around, of course! We will also visit the vineyards, the production plant and the “treasures room” where the Oller del Mas chateaux wines become older and wiser.
And then thanks to the cellar oenologists we will learn the hows and whys and whens of the three wines tasted, we will just sit, close the eyes and enjoy the wonderful miracle of the wines… tasting the history, the soil, the sun and the rain, Montserrat Mountain influence, the vines, the cure of the hands that harvest the grapes, the knowledge and love of the oenologists, the French oak barrels, the centuries in the stones of the castle and the smiles of the staff of the winery hosting us.
And to go with all this, a laid table with 5J jamón, an icon of Spanish gastronomy, the best “jamón ibérico”, the “Spanish caviar”, organic and proximity food: cheese, bread, pastery… You will feel local for one day sharing an unforgettable day out with your new Spanish friends.
