Montjuïc Cable Car

The Montjuic cable car is the most modern and attractive way to to see the Barcelona skyline with spectacular views over the port and the city. You'll climb to the summit of the Montjuic, the mountain overlooking the city and harbour. The journey itself lasts twenty minutes, climbing 85m on a 750 metre run showing you the whole of Barcelona as well as the Collserola mountains and the glittering Mediterranean in the distance. The Montjuic Mountain is one of Barcelona's green lungs and there's plenty to see here, from the grim fortress at the summit to the complex of sports facilities at the Olympic Ring built for the 92 Olympics.
