Marvel at the majesty of Seville with this half-day odyssey through its picturesque streets, taking in the most emblematic sights and attractions. See the Plaza de España, San Telmo Palace, the Torre de Oro and the cathedral among others and explore the ancient alleyways of the Santa Cruz district.

Seville can trace its history to pre-Roman times and as such boasts a wealth of history in it remarkably well-preserved old town. A tour through its streets is a journey through time. Aboard a minibus, you will discover some of the most beautiful landmarks. See the former Royal Tobacco Factory building, the ornate masterpiece where Bizet’s Carmen worked and which is now part of the university. Admire the scale and detail of the Plaza de España – of Star Wars fame – which was built for the 1929 expo. Behold the baroque brilliance of San Telmo Palace, seat of the Andalusian government. Treasure the timelessness of the 13th century Torre de Oro (the Golden Tower) and the Isabel II Bridge, which marked the city’s modernisation during that monarch’s reign.

Discover Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter adjacent to the cathedral. This medieval maze of narrow streets meanders to its centrepiece, the gorgeous Plaza de los Venerables, which is a hive of bars and eateries. The tour will then head to the Alcazar – the oldest royal palace in Europe, which dates from Moorish times – and the eclectic cathedral with its opulent Giralda belfry, which was originally the minaret of a mosque. (Admission to these last two attractions is an optional extra.)
