Departure to "Playa de Las Américas - Los Cristianos" heading the northeastern part of the island. The first stop will be made at "Los Gigantes" viewpoint, where guests may admire the beauty of these unique cliffs. Later, the excursion will ascend to Santiago del Teide, arriving at the summit of Erjos from whence it is possible to observe the contrasts in vegetation and in climate between the northern and southern parts of the island, with some impressive views out over the Teide (weather permitting). The excursion will continue descending to "El Tanque" and its viewpoint from whence the municipality of Garachico (once of the most important port to the island) may be observed and its unique "Roque", an outstanding geomorphologic feature of scenic relevance. After this, the visit will follow passing across the municipality of "Icod de los Vinos" where it is possible to enjoy the spectacular view of the famous "Drago Milenario", typical tree of the Canary Islands, more than a thousand years old. We will continue to La Orotava where the guests will visit the Old Town and "La Casa de Los Balcones", with all types of handicrafts. Next visit it will be at "Casa Abaco" for German speaking excursion or "Pueblo Chico" for French / Dutch speaking excursion. Following this, guests will be led to Puerto de La Cruz, where guests will have some time to lunch (optional) and to take a stroll through the old town centre, "Lago Martianez", etc. After that and way back to the south guests will visit the Basilica of Candelaria. Guests will return to their point of departure via the southern motorway.
