After meeting your friendly guide who will give you a brief introduction to the history of Barcelona, it's time to jump on the bikes and head off to explore this cosmopolitan Mediterranean metropolis. First we'll explore the Barri Gotic, a maze of narrow streets full of quirky boutiques and cool bars. We'll pass through the Plaça Sant Jaume and the Plaça del Rei, stopping to admire the city's magnificent Gothic Cathedral before heading north towards visionary architect Antoni Gaudi's impressive Basilica of the Sagrada Familia.

Other stops on this tour include the Parc de la Ciutadella, the Old Harbour, the Olympic Port, and the Born. The tour ends at Barceloneta beach, where you can relax over a drink with your fellow bikers or go for a dip in the Med (remember to pack your swimsuit!). The ride is mainly on cycle paths, pedestrian zones and parks so is safe and not the least strenuous. So what are you waiting for? Get on your bike!
