In this combo sightseeing tour you'll explore the fantastic legacy of the city's Moorish rulers in the fairy-tale palaces of the Alhambra and the lush Generalife Gardens before boarding an open-topped double decker bus for a hop on hop off tour of this fascinating city, visiting the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel and the city's brand new Science Park.

The Alhambra palace complex stands on a hill overlooking the city of Granada. It was originally built as a fortress in 899 before being converted into a Royal Palace by Yusuf I, Sultan of Granada. was home to a succession of Nazrid Kings. Royal Palace Complex with its Harem, the Court of the Myrtles with its large pond used for cooling the buildings in the summer heat, the magnificent Hall of the Ambassadors and the breathtakingly beautiful Court of the Lions and the Hall of the Abencerrajes and the Generalife Gardens, a lush paradise packed with flowers, fountains and secluded courtyards.

Then board an open-topped double decker bus for a hop on hop off tour of Granada. Listen to an audio-guide commentary as you see all the main sights including the impressive Cathedral, built in the Spanish Renaissance style on the site of the Nazrid Great Mosque shortly after the conquest of the city by the Catholic Monarchs. You'll also visit the Royal Chapel nearby, housing the tombs of the Fernando and Isabella. Duration: Length of the Alhambra tour: Two-and-a-half hours. Length of Tourist bus: One-and-a-half hours. Bus tickets are valid for 48 hours.
Start or opening time: Tourist bus available every day from 9.30am. Customers will receive a map with information about the stops.
End or closing time: Tourist bus available every day until 6pm – 10pm (it depends on the season).
