Camel Sandy Dunes

Feel like Lawrence of Arabia as you ride on the back of a swaying camel through the magnificent Maspalomas Sand Dunes, a protected nature reserve and one of the most important attractions in the Canary Islands. A walk through this stunning natural environment that can only be entered on foot or by camel is an absolute must for anybody passing through Gran Canaria. The Dunes are the habitat of many plants, some of which are unique to the Canary Islands. You will be amazed at how they manage to survive in such an arid, hostile environment together with lizards and rabbits. In the excursion through the Maspalomas Nature Reserve you will get to ride a camel.
