Afternoon tapas tour in Barcelona

Come with us on this on this walking tour around the historical centre of Barcelona and find out why this city is a foodie paradise. You'll spend an evening in a small group strolling around some of the city's old barrios as your knowledgeable local guide provides you with fascinating information about Catalan, Basque and Spanish food, wine and culture. Then feast on traditional and modern tapas in some of the city's top bars and restaurants.

The tour starts with a visit to the world-famous Boqueria Market. Appreciate the incredible contrast of colours and aromas and the vibrant, bustling atmosphere. Admire the beautifully arranged produce on display on the different stalls including fruit and vegetables, seafood, cheese and all types of cold cuts and understand how Catalan cuisine has won its hard-earned reputation through the top quality of its ingredients.

Then we'll make a stop at a Basque bar offering a wide selection of traditional tapas and pintxos. Enjoy a selection of three tapas with a glass of wine, beer or cider, next we'll head across Las Ramblas, moving towards the Gothic Quarter, a maze of narrow streets radiating out from the city's impressive Cathedral. Here you'll find an area packed with hole-in-the-wall bars and sophisticated restaurants as well as a a mind-boggling variety of shops selling everything from coffee to cheese. Our last stop will be a restaurant with a wide selection of delectable tapas, situated in Barcelona’s city centre.
