If you are hungry stop for a leisurely lunch at the Goatshed Restaurant (optional).
Next we head for the Spice Route Winery which offers something to keep everyone happy! From handcrafted chocolate tastings, join Woflgang Koedel on a boutique beer production tour followed by a tasting, mesmerise yourself by watching a glass blower at Red Hot Glass Studio blow Venetian style glass products to tasting Kudu, Eland and Springbok biltong and more.
Last of all our journey takes us to the small town of Franschoek (French Corner) formed in 1688 by 176 French Huguenot refugees. We then pass by the local Museum which delves into the history of the French settlers and their farms passing by the French Huguenot Monument at the end of the town. Our journey then ends off with a bang at the renowned Haute Cabriere wine estate dating back to 1694 for our final wine tasting of the day.
