River Ljubljanica gives Ljubljana a special touch as a navigable river already since Roman times until the 19th century. Today Ljubljanica River is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.
The dark green river, surrounded by plentiful bank-side vegetation, which enables good fishing especially from a boat, hides trout, grayling and huchen, as well as Danube roach, chub and pike. Every year, several trophy individuals of these species are caught.
Enjoy fishing on the river Ljubljanica. We'll take you to Podpeč where you can chase large and healthy fish and have a great fun at the same time. On request we can also fry the caught fish for you.
Scheduled daily from 1st May until 31st October, start time upon agreement. Artificial lures only.
Price includes: free equipment and quality tackles (you are welcome to use your own tackle), fishing permit, boat hiering with skipper-guide and refreshments.
