To enjoy in full the beauty and grandeur of the Multinskie lakes, we will have to start short after breakfast at 9 am.

The road after Multinskiy maralnik becomes a true obstacle course and the trip is an amusement which impresses the tourists almost as much as the lakes themselves.

When you approach the first Multinkiy lake, you understand that your life has a meaning now, that you now have seen something and came in touch with something that will come later in memories many years after. The slick, going three kilometers away, is surrounded by mighty Katunskiy range of mountains.

Part of the tourists, who prefer to attain big results with small physical effort, would stay at the first Multinskiy lake but the maximalists – perfectionists, who are not searching easy solutions in life, would follow the track along the lake to the neck of land between two lakes. Trust us, this is worth it: three kilometers one way and you are in the miraculous area with the clean stony beach, cedar trees, and if you are lucky, even wild ducks. The most amazing is the meeting with the second Multinskiy lake. Just imagine: you already grew familiar with the new atmosphere: meadow, cedars, beach, and lake. But after having climbed on top of the high rocks, you have an impression of emerging in the submarine on the surface of a new lake already, kilometers away! The place of the connection is called “Shumy” (Russian for “noises”). Noises of the water flowing and flying between rocks, and really you can hear the noise in your head not only from water but from this natural effect of the reality control when with the one turn of the head you can end up above the great mountain lake and be at the same time at the water level.
