Enjoy the highlights of the sophisticated resort-town of Sintra on this luxury tour. We will leave Lisbon heading for the Quinta de Penha, a majestic and romantic palace located at one of the highest peaks of the Natural Park of the Serra de Sintra. The palace is characterized by its eclectic mixture of styles, which gives it a distinctive look. Towards the end of the morning, you will plenty of free time to stroll through the streets of the town of Sintra, delight of kings and inspiration to poets. You’ll enjoy the many craft shops, tea rooms, and you shouldn’t leave without trying the famous local pastries: queijadas and travesseiros. There will be plenty of time to recharge your batteries over a leisurely lunch in a unique setting with a breathtaking mountain views. After lunch we will set off for Colares, a distinguished region renowned for its table wine. Then it’s onwards to the Cabo da Rocha, Portugal’s Land’s End and the westernmost point of continental Europe. Later on, we will pass by Guincho beach, popular among windsurfers, and the Boca do Inferno, enjoying the rugged coastal scenery. Our next stop will be the cosmopolitan town of Cascais, where you will enjoy magnificent views over its renowned bay. We will return to Lisbon along the Estoril’s coastline with its world-famous Casino and its gardens. This is definitely a day you won’t forget.
