The wonderful Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most precious and fascinating attractions in Poland. An underground trail leads through numerous drifts, galleries and chambers, where traces of mining activity have been preserved, as well as examples of sacred art, theme compositions relating to the history of the mine and legends.
Wieliczka is at the same time the world's largest mining heritage museum with a collection reflecting the development of mining techniques from the Middle Ages to today. Your tour starts with a descent to a depth of 64 metres through a number of chambers and past underground lakes, shrines and salt monuments. The trip finishes at the level of 135 meters below the surface. You return to the surface by lift.
Meeting points:From the 1st December till the end of March (31st March): Wieliczka Salt Mine at 09.40am. From April: 2 St. Jana Street. Clients must be at the meeting point at least 15 min prior to departure time.

Other information: The price does not include fees for photography and filming. A discount entrance fee is available for students aged up to 24 holding a valid student ID. Entry is free for children under 5 years of age traveling with careers, although it is necessary to provide this information when making a reservation. A printed voucher must be handed in at the beginning of the trip.
