This tour takes you to visit the key sites and attractions of Lima before you depart for Cusco and Machu Picchu. Upon arriving in Cusco we visit the key historical attractions and then take a short excursion from the city to see the Inca sites Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. We spend the next day touring the Sacred Valley before we reach Ollantaytambo where at 6pm we will catch the train to Aguas Calientes. Stops include Pisac, a small colonial town, Urubamba where we stop for Lunch and to view the nearby ruins and finally Ollantaytambo where you can view the impressive Inca fortress that overlooks the small Inca town. We start early the next morning the tour of Machu Picchu taking one of the first buses from Aguas Calientes. Then train back to Cusco leave late in the afternoon so you have time for both a guided tour of the ruins place the entire day to explore. The final night is in Cusco before departing to Lima the following morning.

Day 1

We will pick you from your flight at Lima airport and shuttle you to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city or resting.

Day 2

A full day tour of Lima takes you to the key attractions. We visit Lima's Historical Centre as well as Miraflores a symbol of modern Lima and great place to view the ocean. The day tour takes a number of different sites including; Convent and Church of San Francisco, El Olivar Park and more.

Day 3

We pick you up from your hotel for the flight to Cusco. Once in Cusco we check you into your hotel and provide an afternoon tour of the sites of historical Cusco. We end the day with a short excursion from Cusco to see the sites of Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

Day 4

We will pick you from your hotel around 8:45am and then head by private van to Ollantaytambo where we will catch the train to Aguas Calienties the departure point for Machu Picchu. We spend the day touring the sites of the Sacred Valley which include Pisac, Urubamba and the impressive fort at Ollantaytambo. We depart Ollantaytambo at 6pm to take the train to Aguas Calientes where we spend the night.

Day 5

This morning you wake up early to board one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu. Once up at the ruins you'll catch a beautiful sunrise over the site and you can participate in a tour in which all of the buildings of the site are explained. The rest of the day is free to explore before we depart in the late afternoon via train back to your hotel at Cusco.

Day 6

We will pick you up from your hotel and drop you at the airport for a connecting flight to Lima. If your flight is in the evening please advise us and we will schedule some programs for the day.
