Nicaragua Nature & Culture

Day 1: Welcome and transport from ACS International Airport (MGA) to Hostal  Sleep Easy Inn. Room check-in and dinner at Restaurante Doña Haydeé (traditional Nicaraguan food). Most Flights arrive during the night.

Day 2: Breakfast  at the hostel andtour to Granada City, which includes boat trip around Lake Nicaragua Islets, Lunch at Restaurante Las Colinas Visits to Casa de los Tres Mundos Museum, San Francisco Convent Cultural Center, Granada Cathedral, walk on La Calzada Street and horse carriage ride around the city. Dinner at Granada’s Central Park Restaurant. Return to the hostel in Managua.

Day 3:  Mombacho Volcano Natural Reserve Hiking Tour. There are two pathways options. First, the Crater Pathway, this option has about a mile long, a (level 6) difficulty and it takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete. Second, El Tigrillo Pathway, it has about 2 miles long, a (level 8) difficulty and it takes about 2 ½ hours to complete. Lunch at the Mombacho Volcano Natural Reserve Restaurant.  Visit to Mirador de Catarina, at the top of Apoyo Lake crater.  Dinner at Mi Viejo Ranchito Restaurant.Return to the hostel.

Day 4:   Breakfast at the hostel and tour to León City and Las Peñitas Beach, which includes a visit to León Cathedral, Ruben Dario Museum, Gurdian Museum and Poneloya and Las Peñitas beaches. Dinner and stay overnight at Hotel Suyapa in Las Peñitas Beach.

Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel a Tour to  the Ruins of León Viejo and afternoon visit to El Velero Beach. Lunch at El Velero and dinner at  Sleep Easy Inn.

Day 6:  Breakfast at the hostel and tour to Managua City, which includes a visit to The Acahualinca Archeological Footprints site, Salvador Allende Port at Lake Managua, Old and New Managua Cathedral, Sandino Touristic Park, and Masaya Volcano National Park.

Day 7:  Breakfast at the hostel and depart to the airport.
