Amsterdam culinary bike tour

Our accommodating guide will take you around on a dutch culinary bike tour. The tour includes visiting a famous Haring stand, and trying " Hollandse Nieuwe" fresh raw herring. After that, the guide will take you the a market where you can find a huge variety of dutch cheese, from Goude kaas to Edamer, to Amsterdam oude kaas. All different kind of cheese the Dutch are world famous for. 

Then you guide and you will head to another market where fresh dutch waffles are baked. In dutch «Stroopwafels». These freshly baked delicious treat have a century old syrup recipe that is melted between two thin layers of crusty appetizing waffles. Mouth watering treat ! 

If you are half way through the tour, your guide will take you back to tour through the canals, where you can take plenty of photos cycling between the historic canal rings. Heading to the city center, you guide will stop at Amsterdams most famous fries stand. From Krokets to frikandels and bitterballen, you will have it all there. Called " the dutchman's snacks", they definetly not to miss! 

The tour is not over yet without a visit to the infamous FEBO, founded in 1940's, Febo is known for its automatic vending machines that sell burgers, krokets, and kaassoufle etc. Febo can now be found is almost all citys and stations around the netherlands.

The tour ends with a visit to one amsterdams local «bruin cafe», a local bar where your guide will have you taste a typical dutch liquer " Jenever" .
