9 Days Mardi Himal Yoga Trekking Retreat

A hidden trek in the Annapurna region. Over the mountain tops, through the rhododendron forests along the ridge overlooking snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas all the way to Mardi Himal Base Camp.

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

Our delegate welcomes you upon your landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and drives you to our yoga retreat home. You check-in and soak up the wonderful views, fresh air, and rest as you wish: be it a short walk to get to know the area, meditate in our panoramic yoga hall or sleep off your jetlag.
Arrival time: 12 noon
Snacks, dinner and breakfast are included. Accommodation included.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Bus (Approx. 4-5 hrs.)

The day starts early with a delicious and fully vegetarian breakfast packed with organic choices. Then we head to catch a modern, air-conditioned bus to Pokhara. The drive is about 4-5 hours but with several stops, amazing views, and nice chats if you wish to join. You decide on your lunch as we take breaks on the journey. Pokhara welcomes us in the afternoon with cozy, friendly atmosphere and we check in at our partner hotel. Between 5 pm and 6:30 pm we invite you to stretch your legs, do some yoga meditation and contemplation, we dine together and then show you around Pokhara in the evening.
Breakfast, lunch transport, dinner, accommodation, and yoga is included. Other expenses are not included.

Day 3: Drive to Kande and Trek to Deurali (2100 m)

Let’s wake up, rise and shine, and do morning yoga! After practice, we have breakfast at the hotel and drive to Kande (around 1 hour drive). From Kande we hike to Deurali and Australian Camp (approx. 3 hours). There is one hour guided meditation in Australian Camp to absorb the wonders around us.
We spend the night at Deurali Tea House. Accommodation and meals are included.

Day 4: Trek from Deurali to Forest Camp (2550 m)

We start the day with outdoor yoga practice for unwinding and breakfast at the Tea House before heading out to stroll through the timberland. After approx. 5 hours you will reach the Forest Camp.
We stay overnight at Backwoods camp. Meals and accommodation at Tea house are included.

Day 5: Trek from Forest Camp to High Camp (3580 m, 3 hour journey)

After refreshing morning yoga practice and breakfast, we trek from Forest Camp to High Camp (3580 m, 3 hour trip, we usually leave around 9 am). After settling down, we sit for meditation between 4 and 5 pm.
All meals and accommodation are included.

Day 6: Mardi Himal Base Camp

We greet the mountain tops with morning yoga, fuel our bodies with breakfast and at 9 am start our trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500 m) and back to Low Camp (2990 m).
We spend the night in Tea house, meals are included.

Day 7: Back to Pokhara

Outdoor sunrise yoga session and breakfast enjoying the last stunning views. At 9 am a final hike down to Saite Ghatta (4-5 hours) and drive back to Pokhara (approx. 2 hour drive). Check in at lodging in Pokhara and enjoy your free time.

Day 8: Return Back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus

Breakfast at the lodging and drive back to Kathmandu. Lunch on your own during breaks on the way. In Kathmandu, you check in at the Hotel and enjoy the busy city life, markets and restaurants for a change!

Day 9: Special Spa Trekkers Package at Mandala Studio Yoga & Spa

On your final day, we spoil you in our own Mandala studio in the center of Thamel for your massage package. You did earn it!
