Milestii Mici, legally declared National Heritage of the Republic of Moldova, is included in the Guinness Book of Records, in 2007. The winery has the largest collection of wines in the world, «Golden Collection», which includes about 2 million bottles of wine.
The complex of the underground galleries is the largest in Europe, stretching over nearly 250 km, only 120 km of which are used. 70% represents collections of red wines, 20 % white wines and 10% dessert wines.
Currently, Milestii Mici is an underground city with streets named after famous wines and along which are located oak barrels and tanks with a total capacity of 65 million liters, with underground waterfalls, fountains and tasting halls.
The most valuable bottle of wine present in the collection was produced from 1973 to 1974 and worth € 480.
The excursion takes 2 hours and includes the wine tasting, (3 types), an appetizer, a traditional Moldovan meal and a souvenir (a bottle of red/white wine).
