Dinner in the Sky: Luxury Dining Experience Above Teotihuacan Pyramids

Experience one of the most memorable meals you’ll ever have by eating lunch or dinner high above Mexico’s Teotihuacan Pyramids. Sitting safely around an open-air table attached to a crane, you’ll dine on freshly made Mexican dishes as you are suspended 150 feet (45 meters) in the air. The 3-course meal highlights regional cuisine, and transport to and from Mexico City is included. Talk about dinner with a view! Enjoy personal attention on this small-group tour, limited to 19 people.

In either the late morning or early afternoon, depending on your chosen option, your Teotihuacan Pyramids experience begins with pickup at your Mexico City hotel by minivan. The pyramids site is about 30 miles (50 km) northeast of Mexico City, so sit back and relax on the approximate 1.5-hour drive.

When you arrive, board the covered, open-air platform and strap yourself securely into your seat, one of 19 positioned around a table, in the middle of which stand your chef and server. Attached to a crane, the platform will begin lifting off the ground, taking you to a height of 150 feet!

While you wait for your first course to be served, enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime views of the Teotihuacan Pyramids stretched before you. Looking down, spot some of the most significant features, including the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Avenue of the Dead. The UNESCO World Heritage site dates back to pre-Columbian Mesoamerica and is one of the most-visited archaeological sites in Mexico.

After an hour in the air, you’ll be lowered back to the ground and driven back to your hotel in Mexico City — an approximate 2-hour ride, depending on traffic conditions.
