Canopy River Expedition

Adventure, adrenaline and extreme fun is what River Expedition has to offer to nature lovers, as well as thrill seekers. It is an experience not to be missed. The tour begins with a journey by the shores of the Rio Cuale heading to our facilities, where will be experienced the difference of being between the city and the mountains in the Sierra Madre Occidental. Canopy River is located at the top of the mountain; from there the expedition is intensified by being led through the jungle by our experienced and friendly guides. We challenge you to live the first dose of adrenaline when you are “launched” by the first time in the zip line from one mountain to another. Then you will walk into the jungle and you will be captivated by the beautiful view and the variety of flora and wildlife. Then the challenge is to cross two bridges located on one side of the mountain that will take the edge of a precipice, from which you will have the option to rappel 27 meters in height or 24 meters in free fall. To get to the next adventure, the challenge is to pass on a platform suspended bridge over the River Cuale. The views are magnificent, breathing the freshness of the jungle and to experience the live spectacle of being in a natural environment, green and exotic. The guide will prepare the team to cross the river by a vine in the style of Tarzan and immediately after, another zip line will provide a great shot of freshness by soaking in the waters of the river. Once in the river, you will go on an inflatable raft down the river, enjoying the scenery of the surrounding mountains. The last part of this challenging journey is the mule ride up the mountain through the jungle way back to River Canopy facilities, where you can enjoy delicious Mexican dishes and refreshing drinks in the restaurant Los Coapinoles. You can also relax in the hammocks or sunbathe on our bunks. And to close this adventure with golden brochure and with the essence of our Mexico, you are invited to enjoy the Tequila Tour in the Tequilera EL JORULLO. • 2 way transportation, purified water during the excursion. The participants must be at least 12 years old and being physically fit. • Maximum weight 220 pounds (100 kg) • Cameras are not recommended, but we have available photographic services. • We have lockers, which are free of charge and are available to keep goods and belongings.
