Aborigines Cultural Village at Carey Island & Morib Beach with Seafood Lunch

Consisting of a small population of just around 140,000, the Aborigines are the indigenous people of the country. They consist of the Proto-Malay, Negritos and Senoi tribes. In every tribe of the Orang Asli, they appoint a leader in which they are called “Batin” or in Malay word – “Penghulu”.

AtCareyIslandthey are the Mah Meri tribe (population 500), a sub-group of the Senoi group are well known for its craftsmanship that won them many of the UNESCO Seal of Excellence in wood carvings. Join them in the blow-pipe demonstration and the art of mat / pouch weaving demonstration. Proceed to Morib to see the most congested sea-lane which is the Straits of Malacca. Comb the beach at Morib and refreshing fresh sea air.
