Increasingly acknowledged as one of the most important areas for biodiversity in Kenya, wildlife population densities in the Laikipia region and Ewaso eco-system now rank second to the internationally renowned Maasai Mara ecosystem, whilst the diversity of large mammals is higher than in any other part of Kenya.

Day 1: Nairobi

On the first day of your Laikipa Safari a driver will meet you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and drive through the bustling capital to the guesthouse for the night. Depending on when you arrive there might be time to take in some of the city's attractions during your Kenya holiday. Arrange to go out for dinner at one of the vibrant restaurants in the City.

Day 2-4: Laikipia

The next morning after breakfast, travel to the Laikipia Plateau. Spend the next couple of days exploring this diverse wildlife rich landscape. This is one of the best places in Kenya to see the endangered Wild dogs as well as Cheetah, Elephant, Lion and lots of plains game. Although a traditional game drive is offered here, there are many alternative game viewing activities to choose from during your luxury safari in Kenya.

Feel the pulse of Africa while on a walking safari with a Samburu guide or go camel riding for a safari with a difference. Head out on horseback and ride among Zebra and Giraffe or grab a mountain bike and cycle the animal tracks encountering animals en route. Sip on refreshing sundowners and watch the sun slip below the horizon before gathering around the fire and savouring a hearty meal. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 5: Laikipia to Nairobi

On the final morning of your Laikipia Safari there may be time for one last venture into the surrounding forest before breakfast. After saying farewell, travel back to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where this tour ends. Please speak to one of our Destination Specialists should you wish to extend this itinerary.
