Chukka Horseback Ride & Swim from Negril

Join us for the ride of your life in Jamaica’s very own wild west with a horseback trail and swim. After traversing through scenic backcountry trails, you will swim on horseback in the Caribbean. Your adventure begins when you saddle up for the original horseback ride in lush landscapes around Negril, which thanks to the plentiful water supplied by the Great Morass swamp is as verdant and tropical as can be. This is the Jamaica of lore: an area of wonderful wetlands, fantastic forests and spectacular views of cliffsides and the turquoise Caribbean wasters.

Ride your horse through 900 acres of farmland, where you’ll see ostriches, pheasant’s roosters and ducks, and be able to feed peacocks. Well ride through a grove flanked by hundreds of 20 metre-tall black olive trees as we prepare for the climax of the excursion.

Then, on a private beach, ride full gallop along the sands before we enter the water on the horses for an unparalleled, exhilarating ride through the warm Caribbean waters.

This thrilling adventure lasts about two-and-a-half hours. Children aged six or over can participate.
