DESCRIPTION OF TOUR
This loop trail is developed through the protection forest which is located upstream of Les Combes (1.333 m asl), a place dear to the popes who have spent many summer vacations here. The initial section of the route is flat and connects the village Les Combes and the Lieu-dit Plan du Saint-Père (1.307 m asl). From here the trail goes into the mixed forest of spruce and larch, and describes numerous switchbacks along the slope and quite reaches the rocky spur known as “Croux de Bouque” (1.720 m asl). From this vantage point, an oasis of peace, you can enjoy a splendid view ofMont Blanc and the so-called «Plaine d’Aosta».

The fee is 90 € for an half-day, whatever the number of participants

The tour can also be made by one participant, subject to participation fee, to be paid to the guide for the conduct

spare shirts, pail or sweater, waterproof jacket, pants, trekking boots, wool hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, backpack trips (just a capacity of 25-30 liters), drinks, lunch
Recommended: trekking poles, water bottle, camera
IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER
In case of bad weather we can visit the “Parc Animalier”, a nature park where you can observe alpine’s flora and fauna, and the “Maison Bruil”, rural house recently renovated to accommodate the visit of the public interested in deepening their knowledge of traditional architecture of AostaValley.
