Tour starts at 10 0'clock from Porta Rudiae. Itinerary includes the visit to the most important baroque structures in the city: Rosary Basilica, Cathedral Square, S.Irene Church. The itinerary continues on Vittorio Emanuele II street, among scenic baroque palaces and shops of cardboard, arriving in S. Oronzo square. This square holds the votive column of the Patron Saint: it's the terminal column of the ancinet roman Appia Street, given to the city of Lecce by the city of Brindisi in the XVII century. There is also the Sedile with the S. Marco church, and the impressive Roman amphitheater. From the square we go to Castromediano square, where there are archaeological rests of a Roman Oil Mill. Endly we arrive to Holy Cross Basilica and the convents of Celestini, greatest work of the Baroque art.
