You will visit the Dominican basilica of Santa Maria Novella with its outstanding original facade and inside its wonderful frescoes by Ghirlandaio AND MASACCIO. We will then visit the ancient Pharmacy founded by the Dominicans who created potions and remedies with the herbs who they grow by the Cloister. Afterwards we will head to Franciscan basilica ofSanta Croce which holds some of the most remarkable frescoes by Giotto and the illustrious tombs of many “Italian Glories”as Michelangelo and Galileo. During our walk through the heart of the city you will admire the development of Florentine architecture from the medieval tower houses to the Renaissance palace.
