Discovering Milan in one day

A pleasant walk through the centre of  Milano, visiting the most famous monuments of the city but also  the unknown corners.

A route through the history of the buildings and of the famous people who lived here: from Leonardo da Vinci to Alessandro Manzoni.

The visit starts from Piazza della Scala, and it involves a few places: Alessandro Manzoni ‘s House (exterior);  the” Large Men’s house”  (exterior), The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II arcade and its histories; The Duomo (exterior) and its curiosities and its square; a beautiful medieval bell tower; Merchants’s Square, a beautiful  ancient square that was one time a place of public punishment! We will see also the palace in which lived the “ Lady with an Ermine”; and we will reach the Castle of Milan.
