If you are coming on a cruise we can welcome you by the Port of Civitavecchia and take you to Rome by train or private limo (costs to be asked to a car company, I suggest camor service, see the link here below, Or, if you prefer, at Civitavecchia we can rent a car and drive all along the shore to Rome (cost of the car around 120 euro) and then lead you on a visit to the Eternal City...
I offer high quality but low costs cultural guided walking (without entering in any of the archeological sites) full day tours of six/seven hours from 65,00 euro per person with a maximum of 5 guests. Less than 5 the rate is flat and is 250,00 euro. For this rates the meeting point is Rome.The walk will pass by the Aurelian walls, the Circus Maximus, The Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Vatican.
For lunch we may take you at one of our homes and show you how to make a very good «roman» pasta, «amatriciana», for example and of course...you will also eat it! Extra cost: 30,00 euro per person with a maximum of 5 guests. Less than 5 there is a flat rate of 140,00 euro. Local wine included!
At the end of the walking tour we'll lead you to the closest train station and help you taking your train back to the port. Or drive you back to the Port.
Average time all included: from 6 to 8 hours.
No train tickets, no entrance fees included (return train tickets cost around 10 euro per person).
Option two:
A visit with a specialized guide of Rome:depending on your interests you can explore the archeological area entering into the Roman Forum and the Coloseum (approx time:3 hours). And/or the Vatican museums and Saint Peter's (approx time:4 hours..)
Cost for the guide: from 30,00 to 50,00 euro per hour depending on the number of guests.
