Brescia Segway PT Authorized Tour by CSTRents

The Tour starts in the parking lot in Via Mantova: gathering and training point to become familiar with Segway PT. From here a bicycle path leads to the Porta Venezia gate. Cross Piazzale Arnaldo da Brescia, go down Via Tosio and Via San Siro to reach Via dei Musei, following the traces of the ancient Roman city plan.

The itinerary proceeds toward the Forum, presenting the great ruins of the Roman Theater and Capitoline Temple, as well as the remains of the eastern gate of the city. Proceed down Via Agostino Gallo, Piazza Labus, San Marco and the Tower of Hercules, passing through the Piazza Martiri di Belfiore which opens directly onto the inner courtyard of the Broletto –one of the major municipal buildings in all of Lombardy, with its medieval-late renaissance origins and some baroque additions-.

After a quick visit inside the churches dedicated to Saints Faustino and Giovita and the Santa Maria delle Grazie church, the Tour continues in the square that takes its name from the Loggia that dominates it, emblem of the renaissance in the Vento-Lombardy regions. Here one can admire the XVI century buildings, the porticoes, the Clock Tower and a wide range of Roman remains.

Then the tour proceeds along the colonnade to Via X Giornate, Via Bevilacqua, to reach Piazza Paolo VI, the square that merits another stop so you can breathe in the history and view the surrounding monuments. Finally, the tour gradually returns along Corso Magenta to Piazzale Arnaldo da Brescia.
