A Tour of the City and The Uffizi Gallery

This tour includes a quick guide to important locations in Florence as well as a guided tour through the Galleria degli Uffizi.  The Uffizi includes both Renaissance works and works from beyond.  The Galleria degli Uffizi is one of the most important facets in the history of art as well as the oldest gallery in the world.  Featuring works such as Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” and “Primavera” or Allegory of the Springtime, Piero della Francesca’s “Federico da Montefeltro and Battista Sforza”, the Famous Filippo Lippi’s whose image of the Madonna and Child and Angels is featured on a common English chocolate,  Leonardo da Vinci’s “Annunziation” and “Adoration of the Magi”, and “The Baptism of Christ”, Michelangelo’s “Holy Family”, Raphael’s “Madonna del Cardelino", and Titian’s “Venus of Urbino”.  Also inside the Uffizi is the famous Vasari Corrido.  A recently added gallery features the works of Carravaggio, Rubens, and Rembrandt.  Finally, the sexiest sculpture of the ancient world known as the Medici Venus resides inside the Uffizi.
