Guided Walking on Ireland's West Coast

Day One: From Castlebar train station to Belmullet, with a visit to a typical West of Ireland Atlantic blanket bog landscape on route.

Day Two: Two wonderful cliff-top walks, on Mayo's north-west coastline, with beautiful views out over the Atlantic (first walk ca. 4 hrs; second ca. 2 hrs).

Day Three: We take a boat trip out to an abandoned offshore island. See birdlife, seals and hear about the population that lived on the island until the 1930s (ca. 6 hrs).

Day Four: A nice strioll along beaches and to a ruined church, holy well and the local heritage centre (ca. 4 hrs). Departure.

The tour includes three nights B&B in a rural area by the sea, plus three dinners and three packed lunches. We visit the local pubs each night for some great Irish fun.

You need to make your own way to Castlebar train station, or Knock airport (NOC) where you will be collected.

Join our small groups - typically fewer than 12 walkers.
Please do note that it rains in the west of Ireland, so be sure to bring along your waterproof hiking boots and outer clothing.
